The Product

What exactly is Revival Hearing?

We are a small New Zealand owned and operated team, and we started Revival Hearing because we kept hearing the same story. Someone puts off doing anything about their hearing for years, finally asks about it, gets quoted thousands at a clinic, and goes home to put it off again. We did not think getting back into the conversation should cost that.

So we sell over-the-counter hearing aids that sit almost invisibly in the ear, lift the voices in front of you and cut the background noise behind them. We hold our stock here in New Zealand, we post it ourselves, usually within one business day, and when you email us, one of us reads it and replies.

Is Revival Hearing a medical device?

Our devices are over-the-counter hearing aids for mild to moderate hearing difficulty, ready to wear the day they arrive. We designed them so you skip the prescription, the audiologist visit and the fitting appointment entirely.

Who is Revival Hearing designed for?

We built these for adults who have started noticing the moments slipping. You will know if that is you:

  • Asking people to repeat themselves in conversation
  • The TV louder than everyone else wants it
  • Losing the thread in a busy cafe or at the pub
  • Missing what is said from the other end of the table

If that sounds familiar, we built them for you. They suit first-time wearers and anyone who took one look at a clinic quote and walked away. We are upfront that they are for mild to moderate hearing difficulty. Severe or profound loss needs an audiologist, and we will tell you that rather than take your money.

How do I wear Revival Hearing?

We designed them to sit in the ear, with nothing hooked behind it and no tubes or wires.

  • Try the small, medium and large silicone tips and keep the one that feels best
  • Put the device in with a gentle twist until it feels settled
  • Wear both, one in each ear. Two devices come in every order
  • The tips are stock sizes. They are not moulded to your ear

Give yourself a week or two. Ears take a few days to settle in, and then you stop noticing our devices and start noticing everything else.

How long does the battery last?

We made both models rechargeable, with a charging case in every box. Drop them in overnight and they are ready for a full day, and the case tops them up when you are out and about.

The case charges by USB-C, and we refuse to sell you fiddly disposable batteries. There are none.

Are they waterproof?

We built them for everyday life, not the pool. Take them out before you shower or swim and keep them away from the bathroom sink.

Water damage is the one thing our warranty cannot cover, so treat them like your glasses and they will look after you.

Can I wear Revival Hearing while sleeping?

We recommend taking them out at bedtime and popping them in the charging case, so they are fully charged and ready when the kettle goes on in the morning.

Anything left sitting in the ear all night gets uncomfortable, and we would rather your ears got the break.

What comes in the box?

We include everything you need in every order:

  • 2 × Revival Hearing devices (left and right)
  • 1 × Charging case
  • 1 × USB-C charging cable
  • 3 × Silicone tip sizes per device (S, M, L)
  • 1 × Cleaning brush
  • 1 × Quick start guide

We ship it ready to wear, covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee and a 12-month warranty. There is nothing extra to buy before it works.

How They Work
2 questions
How is this different from going to a clinic?

The clinic route means appointments, waiting lists and a bill that lands around $4,800 once the building, the specialist time and the markup are all in it.

We built Revival Hearing to skip all of that. Our One is $199 and our Plus is $299, sold direct, posted from our own NZ stock, ready to wear the day they arrive. You are not paying us less because the device is lesser. You are paying less because we do not make you pay for a building, an appointment book or a markup. And we back it with 30 days to hear the difference at your own dinner table before the decision is final.

Does The Plus have Bluetooth?

Yes. We put Bluetooth on The Plus only. The One does not have it.

Pair The Plus with your phone or tablet and calls, music and the TV come straight to your ears at your volume. If it will not pair with your phone, email us inside the 30 days and we will take it back.

Ringing In The Ears
1 question
Does Revival Hearing treat tinnitus?

No. Our devices are hearing aids. They amplify speech and reduce background noise. They do not treat, cure or prevent tinnitus or any other condition, and we will not tell you otherwise.

Some people find that hearing the world more clearly makes ringing less noticeable to them. That is a personal experience, not a treatment, and we cannot promise it will happen for you.

If you have ringing in your ears, go and see a GP or an audiologist. Do that first if it is new, if it is getting worse, if it is only in one ear, or if it comes with hearing loss, dizziness, pain or discharge.

The One vs The Plus
4 questions
What is the difference between The One and The Plus?

Our One is $199, or 4 interest-free Afterpay payments of $49.75. Nearly invisible in the ear, lifts speech, cuts background noise, recharges in its case.

Our Plus is $299, or 4 interest-free Afterpay payments of $74.75. Everything The One does, plus Bluetooth, so calls, music and the TV stream straight to your ears.

We back both with the 30-day money-back guarantee, a 12-month warranty and free tracked NZ shipping.

Which model should I choose?

Choose The One if:

  • You keep asking people to repeat themselves
  • The TV is louder than everyone else wants it
  • You want simple, nothing paired to a phone
  • Clinic prices have kept you putting this off

Choose The Plus if:

  • Phone calls have become hard work
  • Busy rooms turn into a wall of noise
  • You want calls and TV streamed straight to your ears
  • You want the best one we make
Can I upgrade from The One to The Plus later?

Yes. You can buy The Plus at any time.

If you are still inside the 30 days on your first order, email us at revivalhearingnz@gmail.com with your order number and we will sort the return out with you ourselves.

Can I try both before deciding?

We back both with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsure, start with The One. If you decide inside the 30 days that you want Bluetooth, send it back and put the refund toward The Plus.

Ordering & Pricing
3 questions
How do I place an order?

Order from our website in a couple of minutes. Pick your model, add it to the cart and check out. We offer Afterpay at checkout, so The One is 4 interest-free payments of $49.75 and The Plus is 4 x $74.75, and we post your order straight away.

We pack and post from New Zealand with tracked delivery, and we email you the tracking number ourselves.

Why are these so much cheaper than hearing aids from a clinic?

Because we cut out everything that was not the hearing aid. No building, no appointment book, no middleman clipping the ticket on the way through. A typical clinic fitting lands around $4,800. Ours are $199 and $299, sold direct and posted from our own NZ stock.

You are not paying us less because the device is lesser. You are paying less because you are only paying for the thing that goes in your ear. Then our 30-day guarantee lets the device prove it.

Do I need a prescription to buy Revival Hearing?

No. We sell over-the-counter hearing aids, so there is no prescription and no audiologist visit. Order today, wear them the day they arrive.

One honest exception from us: if your hearing has changed suddenly, is worse in one ear, or comes with pain, discharge or new ringing, see a GP or audiologist before you buy anything, including from us.

Shipping & Delivery
4 questions
How long does shipping take within New Zealand?

We hold our stock in New Zealand and post it ourselves, so it is a domestic delivery, free and tracked on every order.

We email you the tracking number as soon as your order goes out. Rural addresses take a little longer to reach.

Is shipping really free?

Yes, genuinely free. Every order within New Zealand ships free and tracked, no minimum spend, on both The One and The Plus.

No surprise charges appear at our checkout. We hate that as much as you do.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship within New Zealand only at the moment. If you are outside NZ, email us at revivalhearingnz@gmail.com and we will let you know if that changes.

What if my order hasn't arrived?

Email us at revivalhearingnz@gmail.com with your order number and we will chase the tracking with the courier ourselves.

If the parcel is lost in transit we will make it right, either with a replacement or a refund. We will not leave you holding the problem.

Returns & Guarantee
4 questions
What does the 30-day money-back guarantee cover?

Any reason at all. If you do not get on with them, email us within 30 days of your order arriving and we will refund the full purchase price. We built the guarantee so the risk sits with us, not with you.

This sits on top of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, which apply whatever we say in a guarantee.

How do I initiate a return?

To start a return within 30 days of your order arriving:

  • Email us at revivalhearingnz@gmail.com with your order number
  • We will reply with the return address and talk you through it
  • Pack the devices back in the box they came in and post them
  • We refund you once the return reaches us
What is the warranty on Revival Hearing?

We back both models with a 12-month warranty covering faults in materials and workmanship.

It does not cover drops, misuse or water. To make a claim, email us at revivalhearingnz@gmail.com with your order number and what has gone wrong, and we will sort it with you. Your Consumer Guarantees Act rights apply on top of our warranty.

What if my device stops working or is faulty?

Email us at revivalhearingnz@gmail.com and tell us what it is doing. We will work through it with you, and if it is a fault covered by the warranty we will replace it.

One of us reads that inbox personally, so you will get a straight answer, not a form response.

Support & Warranty
4 questions
How do I contact Revival Hearing support?

Email is the best way to reach us:

We are a two person Kiwi team, and we read and answer every email ourselves. No chatbots, no offshore ticket queue, no scripts. Ask us anything, including the hard questions, before you spend a dollar with us.

How do I clean and maintain my Revival Hearing device?

We kept maintenance simple:

  • Wipe them with a soft dry cloth at the end of the day
  • Use the cleaning brush to clear wax off the speaker mesh
  • Keep them in the charging case when you are not wearing them
  • Keep them dry and out of the bathroom
  • Do not leave them in a hot car
How do I charge my Revival Hearing device?

Sit the devices in the charging case and they charge from it. The light on the case shows you what is happening while they charge.

Charge the case itself with the USB-C cable we include in the box. Most people just put them in the case overnight.

Are replacement tips and accessories available?

Email us at revivalhearingnz@gmail.com and tell us what you need. If we have spare tips or a cable on hand we will let you know the price and post it out to you.
